Todd Benson, Co-Founder
Todd Benson has devoted over 14 years to re-positioning value-add properties for maximum growth, value, and income for his investors. Todd has completed over $600 million in real estate transactions and has been instrumental in the acquisition, financing, construction, operations, and leasing of those properties. Todd’s professional experience includes Managing Director of Collegium Capital which owns and operates student housing properties nearby growing state universities and core US urban markets. Additionally, Todd acted as Vice-President of a private equity firm and that of Acquisitions Director for a private investment firm that developed and converted over $350 million of residential real estate in New York City. Todd served as an Adjunct Professor in Finance and Development at New York University Real Estate Institute. Todd holds a Florida Real Estate Brokers License.
Todd specializes in acquiring assets below intrinsic value and maximizing value through active management and creative problem solving. Todd has a unique operational skill set that merges his institutional background with “on the ground” management.
Todd attended the University of Michigan and holds a Masters in Finance and Development from New York University Real Estate Institute. Todd resides in Boca Raton, FL with his wife Jill and two sons, Noah and Reid.
Adam Ross, Co-Founder
As a former student-athlete at The University of Maryland, Adam has learned about the power of sports and how it can best be leveraged in business. In addition to his 14 years of experience in private equity, with a focus on real estate acquisitions, healthcare, biotech, and professional sports franchises, Adam is a state champion high school basketball coach who has sent dozens of players to Division 1 basketball at schools across the country. This process has enabled Adam to network with university presidents, athletic directors, and college coaches, giving him a unique perspective on both the growth initiatives and related challenges facing universities today. Adam is a Managing Director of Collegium Capital which owns and operates student housing properties nearby growing state universities and core US urban markets. Adam’s exclusive and critical college contacts are utilized in order to target investments and analyze the problems and solutions facing these institutions and their student housing needs. Adam is an expert in college demographics and leads PRAGMA's acquisition strategy. To date, Adam has completed over $150 million dollars in student housing transactions.
In addition, Adam has vast experience in various executive roles highlighted by his seat on the Board of Advisors of The NBA's Charlotte Bobcats as well as The WNBA's Charlotte Sting from 2003-2008 as well as Living Independently, LLC from 2004-2008, a technology company that was subsequently acquired by General Electric.
Adam attended the University of Maryland and now resides in Parkland, FL with his wife Jessica and their two daughters, Skylar and Reese.
